My thesaurus says that boring is a synonym for monochromatic and that minimalist can mean subdued. But I say, it ain’t necessarily so! With one color family and one repeating block, this vibrant quilt creates endless chromatic interplay. Depending on where you stand, depending on the light, the quilt’s 25 saturated hues seem to influence and change each other. The quilt’s design was inspired by a sketch for a scarf by Brazilian artist Athos Bulcão, and its title is borrowed from a Pablo Neruda poem.
