After a succession of blizzards in New York City earlier this year, every hint of the coming spring is especially welcome.
I see an urban grid in the every-which-way black-and-white print that surrounds the colors and shapes of this little quilt. And the greens and yellows at its center — cut from one piece of ombré fabric — remind me of the vibrant colors of early spring.
Hints of Spring in the City is part of a new online exhibition at Visions Art Museum. The show, called “It Matters to Me,” includes 41 quilts that will be featured through June 30, 2018.
Pretty; and makes me feel that spring green is coming to my life too! xoo
